Insertion of profiles

Profile library > Insertion of profiles

The insertion of profiles into your drawing is carried out task-oriented and object-oriented.

Vent profiles, for example, can be combined with frame profiles, that already exist in the drawing. This combination process is independent of the scale factor and rotation angle of the frame profiles. SYSCAD® automatically adapts the vent profile to the dimensions and the alignment of the frame profile.

Example 1: Vent

Open a profile SYSTEM (e.g. HUECK-HARTMANN). Select the for example the HARTMANN Series from the pull-down menu HUECK-HARTMANN. Choose a vent profile series (e.g. SYSTHERM 62)

Command: Pick a frame profile (e.g. 620200) from the menus SYSTHERM 62 > Frame Profiles and insert it into your drawing. See help about "Profile library"

Command: Pick a vent profile (e.g. 623010)

Command: Select side of profile for combination:

or <RETURN> for insertion point

kap4_1Click to the side of the frame profile, the vent should be combined with. In this case only the left side is reasonable.

Command:  Profile <profile number> Glaze? Yes/ No   <Yes>:

kap4_2State now whether the highlighted profile (in this case profile 620200) should be glazed or not.

Define the glazing of the vent in the following dialog box for "Fillings".

As a result you get the glazed profiles.

Command:

Select side of profile for combination:

or <RETURN> for insertion point : select insertion point at the right hand side of the profile

Select the opening type of the door or a combination with different adapter profiles from the dialog box.

Glaze the profiles one by one. The result should be the following:

With a doubleclick on a profile, you will get this menue:

Kontext Menü Profil

Please note:

Unfortunately, changing inserted blocks cannot always work by double-clicking. The prerequisite for this is that the item can also be inserted manually from the profile library dialog. Gaskets in an automatically glazed section are often inserted as an adapted variant of the standard gasket (e.g. as 081500_5). This variant article is not included in the profile library. Therefore it cannot be exchanged automatically. Use the Search and replace blocks function here.
