Drawing of any membrane contour with arbitrary thickness and radius. The membranes are adjustable via double-click or via moving the grips.

Enter the parameters into this dialog box and define the first point by clicking into your drawing. It could be helpful to use OSNAP.

The coordinates of the second point can be determined by using relative coordinate input (@) or by clicking onto a point in your drawing. Define a third point afterwards to determine the direction for drawing the wall thickness of the membrane.

The preferred values for radius and thickness can be defined in the dialog box SYSCAD-Variable / Attachment-Details / Membrane for each membrane type.

Connect 2 membranes by clicking on the desired two membranes one after the other using the "Join objects" function

. The ends of the two membranes that are closer to the selection points are connected. The properties of the first membrane selected are transferred to the other.

Separate membranes by first clicking on the membrane and then on the desired separation point using the "Disjoin objects" function

Use the "Membrane from polyline"

function to create membrane from the line segments of a polyline.

Use the "Offset membrane"

function to create membranes as a duplication on existing sheets or membranes.

Enter the desired distance in the following dialogue box. Use the left mouse button to move the virtually displayed contour to the desired side of the membrane and confirm with the right mouse button. You can now use the red arrow to draw the membrane contour on any side of the virtual contour. Define the membrane outline in the dialogue box that now appears.

With the "Copy membrane properties" function

you can transfer the properties of a membrane to other membranes in the same way as the CAD command "Adjust properties". First select the source object and then the target objects.

The "Insert point" command

is used to insert additional definition points. The "Delete point" command

deletes definition points in the selection window.

With the "Membrane delivery length" command

command, you can subsequently change the delivery length of a membrane that has already been drawn. The end of the membrane closest to the selected selection point on the membrane is displayed first. Use the left mouse button to change the side of the membrane. Right-click to accept the selection. The value can then be changed within the displayed limits.

The "Change membran radius"

function allows you to change the radii of slides at a later stage. Click the left mouse button to select a slide. The radius closest to the selected point

"Delete membrane radius"

allows you to restore the modified radii of sheets to their original state. To do this, left-click on the sheet. The radius closest to the selected point is selected and restored to its original state.
