Toolbar: SYSCAD Draw -> Block manager

Offers the possibility to store own blocks in predefined subdirectories. The stored drawing blocks can be inserted or deleted, whereby the selection can be made by file name or via slide display. The subdirectories are defined in the SYSCAD-VARIABLE / BLOCKMANAGER  dialogue box .

Block Manager

In the main menu of the block manager, first select the desired directory. Double-click on the directory name to display subordinate directories, if available. You can also use these directories in the block manager.

Then select the option "Paste...", "Save..." or "Delete". By default, the first subdirectory and the command "INSERT" are preset. The dialogue box is exited when you tap the OK field or confirm one of the three options.

Inserting with the block manager works as an endless loop by default. The block manager is only terminated when you click on the CANCEL button.

You can  change this programme scheme with the VARIABLE "Blockmanager.moref.insert" under SYSCAD/VARIABLE and CONFIGURATION.

After clicking the options "Delete" or "Paste..." the following dialogue box appears with all DWG files in the subdirectory.

Block manager

You can select the desired block by tapping the block name in the list or the slide field. The dialogue box is exited when you either tap the OK field or click twice in quick succession on the desired field.

If you have selected the option "DELETE" and answered the confirmation prompt with "Yes", the block and the corresponding slide will be deleted and will no longer appear in the dialogue box the next time you call it up.

With the option "Save..." you are asked to enter the block name, set the insertion point and select the objects. The name of the selected subdirectory is displayed again for checking.

This block is now stored together with a slide in the subdirectory.

Before selecting the object, you should "zoom in" on the block as much as possible, because this section is decisive for the slide that will be displayed later.
