Sections with referenced dimension or in true length:

After the program call you are asked to define the points for the horizontal or vertical run of section with displaying the message "section from point:" . An interrupted and shifted section is not possible.

Parts of sections can be generated but these sections are not completely dimensioned.

The section is generated together with a list of the used profiles. The cut factor suggested by the program, e.g. <10>, corresponds with the selected scale factor in the menu option FORMAT. Hence the section is scaled up by factor 10.

The section factor is variable and can be determined as required. For section with scale 1:2, the "Factor of section" should be < 5 >. This input is stored in the variable " USERR2 " and is handled as a default value for the next section.

The size of the complete section with dimensioning is represented simplified as a rectangle. It is used as an assistance for the positioning. If the section factor is confirmed with RETURN, the rectangle is attached to the cursor and can be positioned in the drawing.

Subsequently, the message "Generating section..." is displayed.

The program now inserts and glasses the profiles, and the section is represented with complete dimensioning.

The denomination for the next section can be set using the symbol Change cut denomination from the toolbox "SYSFLY Generate section" or in the dialog field SYSCAD VARIABLE at GENERATING SECTIONS.

d_sv6

With these settings the next cross section will get the denomination P-P.

You can only type in capital letters and numbers from 0 to 9. The next value increases continuously according to the ASCII code table.

Since the version 2000.08, you can define the dimensioning style for the section in the SYSCAD VARIABLE:

kap5_49

In case you draw on a scale of 1:1 in general, it is advisable to assign the style SCHNITT1_1, defined in the prototype drawing SYSCAD.DWT, to the variable DIMENSION STYLE SECTION. So all sectional dimensions are drawn at the pre-defined layer and in style SCHNITT1_1.

Command: "Hide view" Hide views

Hides all views that were not created with the currently set supplier. When the program is called, all views are always switched on again. So, if you want to show all views again, you have to call the program and cancel the request afterwards.

Command: "Dimensioning sechtion on/off". Section dimensioning on / off

Before generating a section, set whether it is to be displayed with dimensions or without dimensions.
